Genes and strains
Gene synthesis based on codon preference of each host, molecular techniques using restriction enzymes and gene transfer are an integral part of recombinant enzyme production. These steps, apart from their costs, are demanding process. To facilitate these stages and also reduce the costs and time of research, Dana Co. provides and offers some easy-to-use products and services at three levels; proteins expression in lab and large scale, synthesized and prepared nucleotide sequences and supplying transformed hosts.
The below hosts are bacterial and yeast strains used to produce recombinant proteins. Depending on the type of strain, their production capacity is laboratory, semi-industrial and in some cases industrial.

The nucleotide sequence of each of the genes listed in the table was synthesized based on the codon preference of the respective host.
These sequences were synthesized based on the codon preference of the mentioned host.
These services can be provided in these levels
- Purified gens in expression and synthetic vectors.
- Transformed host expression in solid medium.
- Protein or enzyme products.
